Our Approach

Initial Call

We believe that every successful business relationship starts with understanding our clients’ needs and expectations. That’s why we always begin our process with an initial call, where we take the time to get to know you, your business, and your goals. During this call, we listen carefully to your specific challenges, goals, and needs, so we can potentially work together to develop a solution that’s right for you. Our team will provide guidance and answer any initial questions regarding the Microsoft Dynamics 365 or Power Platform suite.

Demo

Once we have a clear understanding of your needs, we will work with you to develop a comprehensive strategy that will help you achieve your goals. That may include a demo of the Microsoft tool suite to help get a better understanding of a potential solution and capabilities available. During the demo we’ll be able to discuss further functionality and options available and help get an even better understanding of your business and requirements.

Proposal

Once we are clear of your requirements then we will prepare a detailed document, which will outline the proposed solution and will usually include one or more of our core delivery work streams.
Importantly we also want to provide absolute clarity up front on how we will resource the project and work with any in-house teams throughout the duration of the project. We usually involve our delivery team in the sales process to ensure a deep understanding of your needs from the very start.
The proposal will also contain a detailed break-down of costs including consulting fees, licence fees (if required) and also the post live support fees (if required). We want to ensure you are clear on how your investment will be used.

Project commencement

With the contract signed, we will get to work and depending on the project this will usually include additional detailed requirements gathering workshops. Our aim is to gather all the information required to understand your business, and the challenges you want to overcome with the Microsoft tooling (this could be technology, people or process). After documenting our discovery, we’ll conduct a system and several process walkthroughs with your team.

Design the right solution

Our commitment at Boss Global is to find the right solution for your business that will last. We are often brought into rescue other implementations where the client has wasted time, money or are technical debt thanks to unnecessary customisation when an “off the shelf” solution may have more than met client needs. We know the Microsoft products so well that we can adapt them to meet requirements without huge amounts of customization.
An initial system design will be created and presented, with an opportunity to discuss and have a Q&A. Once we have sign off, we’ll commence the programme of delivery.

In-house delivery

Throughout the entire process, we maintain open communication with our clients, providing regular updates and progress reports. We place our specialist teams in-house on PAYE and offer a more agile and ‘quality, not numbers’ approach to work. We believe that leads to building better platforms, driving stronger ROI, and enabling better decision-making. We provide our teams for the duration of any project, or an ongoing basis with our Managed Services packages.

UAT and Training

It is important that our clients’ can see progress and start to engage and walk through the new system at the earliest point possible. With UAT in place allowing ongoing visibility and feedback, we also devise a detailed training plan for our client-side teams in advance of go-live and roll-out. Where required we also devise a Centre of Excellence for a client who wants to build out their own internal capabilities around the Microsoft technologies. We also run a partial data migration to help clients see their customised solution truly in practice vs. a generic demo.

Go-Live planning

Our rigorous Go-live process involves Boss Global delivery and our ongoing support teams. This helps ensure our client meets and gets to know the support team, who they will be working with post go-live.

Ongoing support

At Boss Global, we’re passionate about helping businesses succeed and we’re committed to delivering results that exceed your expectations. Our teams are on-hand to support after go-live to support queries as the client teams become familiar with the new system, or solution put in place.
In addition, we also have our “Managed Services” workstream where we provide a retained service ongoing so you not only have someone to call if you need help, but that we’re able to continually work with you to enhance and upgrade your solution in situ.
